Blackcomb’s Whistler base provides year round helicopter services to the Whistler and Blackcomb mountain resorts including avalanche control, medical evacuations, and lift construction and maintenance. Annual training is conducted with Whistler/Blackcomb Ski Patrollers in mountain helicopter operations and HETS. Blackcomb maintains an AS355 aircraft on standby equipped for medivac at Whistler/Blackcomb throughout the winter season.
